Mitch Ross, MD
I grew up in Phoenix, AZ and attended Arizona State for undergrad. Before attending medical school at St George’s I owned an online fitness supplement business for 8 years. I chose emergency medicine because I like the fast pace and I enjoy the interactions with people from all walks of life. Outside of medicine my interests include fitness, enjoying the outdoors, traveling and trying new restaurants.
Joshua Wahlstrom, MD
I grew up in southwest Michigan, in the small town of Buchanan. I completed my undergraduate studies at Kalamazoo College where I majored in Biology. After spending some time performing research at the University of Chicago following undergrad, I attended Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine where I obtained my MD. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing my family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging with my catahoula leopard dog, Rebel. I am incredibly fortunate to be part of the great emergency medicine residency program at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital and look forward to growing into a confident and competent EM physician!
Allison J. Ward, MD
I am a Texan born, midwestern raised girl. I worked construction and janitorial to get to and through college. I graduated from Southwestern Adventist University in Texas for undergrad, then worked for three years as a clinical laboratory scientist in Indiana and Alabama before going to South Cal for medical school at Loma Linda University. I have way to many hobbies, the top being travel, painting, reading, camping, baking, gardening, carpentry, anything with water, just too many! I live with my giant German Shepard Aria, my fluffy kitty Sushi, and my boyfriend of 10 years Aries. I fell in love with Emergency Medicine first year of med school completely by accident, and I feel very blessed to have gotten a residency in EM!
