We send our residents for their trauma months at state of the art institutions so that they can truly get the feel of running a trauma on their own. They can either choose to go to DMC Sinai Grace, just down the road from Macomb which bolsters one of the highest penetrating wound rate in the country. Or they can go to the world renown R. Adams Crowley Shock Trauma Center, a trauma center that features more than fifteen resuscitative bays dedicated to trauma, seen from all over the DMV area and constantly innovating the future of trauma.
